Over the past years of Apple launching its iPhone models, the company has been steadily excluding some products from the iPhone retail box. So, the removal of stickers from the iPhone 16s is not a new thing for Apple. If you can recall, Apple has already removed earphones, charging adapters, as well as cleaning cloth from the retail box of some previous iPhones.
You should also know that Apple started removing "Apple stickers" from the retail packaging with the Apple Vision Pro headset. Now, Apple is moving forward with the removal of products from the phone's retail boxes. Apple has decided not to include the signature "Apple stickers" in the iPhone 16 packaging.
This move was communicated internally to Apple Store teams through a company memo distributed earlier this week, confirming the decision as part of its ongoing environmental efforts. The Apple’s message confirms that none of the iPhone 16 series iOS smartphones’ retail boxes will have Apple stickers.
The company claims it chose to remove stickers from the retail packaging to further its eco-friendly and sustainability goals. Notably and specifically, Apple is aiming to become one of the Big-tech companies that'll prioritize and enhance carbon neutral by 2030.
More so, the same environmental goal, the company reportedly stated it intentions to remove all plastic from its packaging by next year. Now, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro packaging is already entirely fiber-based. Meanwhile, when Apple removed stickers from the retail packaging with the Apple Vision Pro headset, a poll carried out by John Gruber on X shows that majority of iPhone users agreed with Apple that it was time to “stop wasting the materials”.

Even though Apple is not including the stickers to it latest flagships, that doesn't mean you cannot get. Customers purchasing the iPhone 16 who still want to receive the iconic Apple stickers will need to request them directly from a sales representative during their purchase. In other words, you'll need to purchase your latest iPhone 16 models at any Apple Store.
That's to say, you cannot get the Apple stickers on demand from any third-party retailers and and carrier partners because they do not have access to Apple stickers. In addition, it's also important to let you know that even if you order the iPhone 16 for “home delivery,” you won’t get the Apple Sticker. Now, the iPhone retail box is expected to contain only the essential items. This includes the iPhone 16 itself, a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, a warranty card, and informational leaflets.
